🌍 Location & Working Model
▪ Primary Location: Nürnberg, Germany
▪ Remote / Hybrid / On-Site Policy: Hybrid – up to 2 days/week home office; on-site presence required other days
▪ Travel Requirements: Max. 5 % (e.g., trade fairs, trainings); no company car

🎯 Key Responsibilities
▪ Plan and execute manual & automated tests (Unit, Integration, E2E, System, Regression)
▪ Define and maintain test cases, plans, and strategies to ensure high quality (functionality, UX, security, performance, reliability)
▪ Analyse, document, and hand over defects to development teams
▪ Participate in agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
▪ Collaborate daily with Development and IT-Support teams
▪ Support 2nd & 3rd level issue resolution
▪ Contribute to increasing test coverage and reducing bug/ticket volume

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
▪ 3+ years professional experience in software testing (manual & automated)
▪ Native-level German proficiency
▪ On-site availability in Nürnberg (hybrid, not full remote)
▪ Experience with test automation, integration & unit testing
▪ Programming knowledge in JavaScript and C#

Nice-to-Haves:
▪ ISTQB certification
▪ Experience with Scrum/agile processes
▪ Background in web application testing
▪ Previous software development experience

Dealbreakers / Red Flags:
▪ Primary testing experience limited to automotive/CAN protocols
▪ Insufficient German language skills
▪ Frequent job hopping

Personality Traits:
▪ Team-oriented, self-reliant, open to new methods and approaches

🎓 Experience & Education
▪ Experience: Minimum 3 years in software testing (preferably Senior-level)
▪ Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field desirable; alternatively completed IT apprenticeship (Fachinformatiker) with strong experience
▪ Specific Tools/Technologies: JavaScript, C#, test automation frameworks (unit, integration, E2E)

💶 Compensation
▪ Salary Range: €45,000 up to €70,000 for top candidates
