The role of a Software Test Manager will act as the lead of the testing team to ensure the testing functionalities of a C2 software applications, in line with internal engineering and quality procedures, to include:

▪ Planning test activities (internal or with the customer), coordinate all the activities of test team;

▪ Direct coordination with the customer and internal coordination with other managers;

▪ Creating and maintaining test documentation: test plans, test procedures, test reports, bug reports;

▪ Ensuring requirements trasability;

▪ Preparing reports on the status of test activities;

▪ Coordinate technical activities such as installation, configuration, software testing, technical support, working at the company's offices and / or out of office (Beneficiary office)

▪ Estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities

▪ Design and implement test environments, assisted with tools and simulations

▪ Ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in the defect tracking system

▪ Reviews requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

▪ Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

▪ When appropriate, designs, develops and executes automation scripts using open source tools

▪ Ensuring coverage with test cases for software suite;

▪ Ensuring proper training of the test team members
Requirements:

▪ Ability to plan and coordinate quality assurance teams;

▪ Software testing principles (BlackBox Test, Smoke Test, Regression Test, etc.) ▪ Ability to understand and create test plans/test cases/testing reports

▪ Strong QA skills for bug isolation and reporting and root cause analysis

▪ Strong analytical skills, capability to understand complex standards and corellate information from these documentation

▪ Knowledge on methods for testing Windows desktop and Web applications ▪ Knowledge on testing various backend APIs using tools like Postman, SOAP UI ▪ Windows operating system and Active Directory knowledge

▪ Ability to understand the business case and system requirements

▪ Knowledge of English language at an average level, written and spoken

▪ Good communication skills and ability to efficiently collaborate with development, IT infrastructure and business analysis teams
Qualifications

▪ University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent

▪ 7+ years of working experience in testing

▪ 3+ years experience in leading and coordinateg test teams
Nice to have:

∙ ISTQB certification will be highly advantageous.

∙ Capacity to use AzureDevOps (or Team Foundation Server)

∙ Military domain knowledge would be an advantage but it’s not a must
