JD Romteca: Responsibilities

• Lead customer research by conducting interviews, discovery sessions, and design workshops with end users and stakeholders
• Map and document user workflows and journeys across construction project roles and tasks
• Design and iterate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma
• Build and maintain a consistent design system, including components, patterns, and key UI states
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless handoff and alignment between design and development
• Translate complex, data-heavy processes into clear, intuitive, and scannable user experiences
• Define and refine how AI assistants interact with users, including review and approval touchpoints
• Present research findings and design rationale to internal teams and clients
• Conduct quick usability checks and gather feedback to validate and improve designs
• Decide on information hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and plain-language wording for clarity and trust

JD Romteca: Required Skills

• Expertise in designing interfaces for complex, data-heavy, or technical software
• Strong user research and usability testing skills
• Ability to facilitate client-facing workshops and discovery sessions
• Systems thinking and experience building and maintaining design systems
• Proficiency in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping
